Welcome back to Wild Moon Rising! It’s been quite some time since I’ve written a post. Frankly, I needed time. I had been reborn and needed time to settle into the life of motherhood with my newborn daughter, Luna.
A year to a year and a half into motherhood, the world hit a new level of chaos with social injustices and Covid-19. All I could do was retract deeper into family and home life for solace. I needed to heal. I had fallen into a place that I call The Pit. It was scary and uncomfortable, but once I surrendered to the righteous rage, sadness, and frustration I was feeling, I did the work to pull myself up, and I put forth a conscious effort to stay elevated daily.
I have found myself in a state of balance and ready to blog again, starting with the announcement of my second pregnancy! I knew without a doubt that I was pregnant the day after we conceived. I was very much in tune with the divine feminine and could feel that we had created another life.
My husband and I are feeling honored and blessed to grow our family. My daughter is thrilled to be a big sister! She greets my rapidly growing belly every day with a gentle hand, a sweet kiss, and a reminder that “Mommy’s hungry!” It’s true. I’m always hungry.
We look forward to meeting this little carrier of the light!
