Echoes of Silence

Recently I attended the opening night reception for my dear friend Manda Moffitt’s photography exhibit. I was excited to attend, not only to support Manda, but c’mon, who doesn’t love an art-themed party?! It’s one of life’s greatest pleasures to congregate with open-minded people united by their mutual appreciation for art.

I met Manda at a metaphysical bookstore I worked at while in school in Atlanta, which is also where the reception was held. The gallery was beautiful, and the energy flowed as Manda engaged with guests, artists, and art enthusiasts alike.

Manda takes interest in what most people fail to see. She has a unique perspective of things and places once forgotten, ignored or neglected, and knows just how to capture them in a way that exposes a new life. Her approach to photography is unlike any other, and I’m so proud of her for being authentic to herself and her art. Bravo, Manda!

Check out some of the photos from the reception below!
